I love to write. I love to surf. I love beauty and fashion. So when I saw an opportunity to collaborate with the premier women's surf/style magazine I went for it!  I have been working as the beauty editor for Women's Surf and Style Magazine for one year now and love it!  I am able to combine my love for all of the above together and give back with expression and advise on helpful beauty tips to the masses. This magazine is bi-annual and sold in Barnes and Nobels, Borders, Books-a-Million and Hollister all over North America and Europe.  The team behind the magazine are as awesome as the magazine it self.

The Hawaiian waterman who gave his life on this day 32 years ago in the attempt to get rescue for the Hokulea canoe that was capped in the stormy seas of Hawaii...

As a surfer of 16 years and Hawaii being my home away from home, I wanted to display my respect to honor him on this day.  It takes a lot of HEART to subject yourself to danger so that you may be able to help others to safety.  I think its the people with big hearts like that who make the world a better place... People like Eddie inspire me in more ways than one so I will keep him alive with love and respect 32 years later...
